“Port Aransas has always been a place for Texas to relax, play, and make lasting memories. Now, after Harvey, it needs us just as much as we need it.” These powerful words can be found in this month’s Texas Monthly. Both Texas Monthly and  Port Aransas Marina

Port Aransas

After watching Hurricane Harvey invade the streets and homes of Port Aransas, many wondered if our beloved island would ever return to the way things were. But the people of Port Aransas are incredibly resilient, and possess an unwavering love and loyalty for their city. In less than 10 months time, our 4,000 residents, along with cleanup workers, contractors, and volunteers have pulled together to rebuild the island we all know and love – and it might be better than ever.

Cinnamon Shore Boardwalk

Whether it’s the food, the city, or the culture, there are many elements that attract people to our city, but none like our beaches. As Chamber of Commerce CEO Jeff Hentz said in his interview with Texas Highways, “[the beaches are] our biggest asset.” Texans come for our sandy beaches, the lively atmosphere, and the sound of the crashing waves. At Cinnamon Shore, our homes, townhomes, cottages, and condos are back, so we have plenty of room to house you and your family this summer as you catch some rays on the beach. The Port Aransas community has been counting the days till our summer guests arrive, and you better believe you’ll be welcome with open arms. So pack your bags, get in the car, and head to the coast, because we are BACK!
