Cinnamon Shore is home to two distinct communities along the Texas Coast — Cinnamon Shore North, our original seaside village, and Cinnamon Shore South, our growing community just down the road. While each has its own personality, pace and collection of gathering places, they share the things that make Cinnamon Shore feel like home: walkable streets, thoughtfully designed neighborhoods, private Gulf beach access and plenty of places to gather, play and enjoy time together.

Cinnamon Shore North: The Original Village

Established in 2006, Cinnamon Shore North is where it all began. At the heart of the community is North Town Center, where the green space and stage come alive with music and gatherings throughout the year. Just steps away, you’ll find beloved local spots like Lisabella’s, Stout’s at the Shore, Dylan’s Pizzeria, Shore Café and Tiki Jay’s, along with The Boutiques at Cinnamon Shore.

North has an inviting feel, with mature, tree-lined streets, brick roads and homes thoughtfully arranged around the places people naturally want to gather. Three resort-style pools offer plenty of ways to spend a sunny afternoon, while two dune crossovers provide easy access to the beach. A fitness center, dog park, parks and playgrounds are woven throughout the community, making it easy for everyone, including four-legged family members, to enjoy time outdoors. Town Center and other community amenities are also all within an easy walk or golf cart ride.

North is also home to the Saltwater Gypsies Market, a convenient neighborhood shop where you can pick up everything from sunscreen and household essentials to local sourdough, fresh meats and other provisions. It’s the kind of place that makes settling into a beach weekend, or everyday life, just a little easier.

Cinnamon Shore South: Life by the Lake

Just a mile down the road, Cinnamon Shore South offers a different setting with the same easygoing coastal spirit. At roughly three and a half times the size of Cinnamon Shore North, South is centered around South Town Lake and brings lakeside living into everyday life. Owners and guests can fish from the boardwalk, enjoy the water or spend an afternoon wandering along the lakeside paths.

South is designed with plenty of places to linger, from resort-style pools and a splash pad to an adults-only pool with hammocks strung over the lake. Four dune crossovers provide easy access to the beach, while poolside food service makes it easy to settle in for the afternoon. Bocce ball courts, pickleball and basketball courts, fire pits and pocket parks give everyone a place to play or unwind.

And there’s still plenty to come. South is an evolving community, with new homes, gathering spaces and amenities continuing to take shape. One of the most anticipated additions is Dos Bocas, a new restaurant that will anchor the future South Town Square and bring another gathering place to the heart of the community.

That sense of growth is part of the charm of South, there’s an opportunity to watch the neighborhood take shape and discover new favorites along the way.
