Meet Prince Charming

The Best in Texas Coastal Home Tour continued in Summer 2026 with coastal elegance on display.

Cinnamon Shore opened the doors this summer to the next in a home tour program representing the community’s very best. Getting introduced to “Prince Charming” feels like a fairytale come true for anyone dreaming of Gulf-front living. The handsome home stands three stories tall, close to the beach and community amenities, and the six-bedroom showcase home isn’t just a beautiful place to spend a beach week. It’s a statement about where coastal design is headed next.

It’s currently available to interested buyers, so read on for what makes this Gulf-front home so special.

Before a single fabric swatch or paint chip was chosen, there was a floor plan to draft, and Bill Davies of Davies Collaborative delivered. As a long-time architect for Cinnamon Shore community projects, he knows what works in a beach home. He designed Prince Charming’s layout for real family rhythms—with a spacious first-floor bunk room, game room, and dune-side porch, a lavish, primary suite on the second floor with dedicated living room and Gulf-side porch, and, topping the home, a third-floor kitchen and living space that takes advantage of direct Gulf views. The soaring space with custom millwork opens onto the grandest porch of them all, boasting outdoor fireplace, dining, and seating with commanding Gulf views.

Brought to life by expert craftsmen Pete Waggoner, his brother Tim Waggoner, and the talented crew at Waggoner Custom Homes, this special retreat was built to be lived in, not just looked at.

“We craft every home as if we’ll end up living there,” Pete says. “We set out to create an elevated Gulf-front home, different than anything we’ve seen at Cinnamon Shore, and together with this build-design team, we achieved that.”

Details like the dazzling staircase with iron railing and green-and-white marble flooring set the stage for coastal elegance, starting in the home’s foyer.
An enormous sectional upholstered with custom piping faces a wall of windows and a fireplace with marble surround.

Interior designer Paige Schnell of Tracery Interiors challenged what people expect from a beach house. “All-white homes are a thing of the past,” Paige says. Her design pulls from nature’s hues in ways rarely seen on the coast—with soft grass-green tones alongside the mauves and purples of an actual Gulf sunrise, layered with bold pattern and texture that push past the typical breezy beach palette.

That philosophy announces itself the moment you walk in. The entry resembles a true formal foyer, with console table, sofa, chairs, and an emerald green-and-white checkerboard marble floor.

Just off the entry, the first-floor game room leans into playful contrast, with vintage movie posters and board games, the kind of room that ends a beach afternoon in the best way.

Climb to the top of the house—or take the elevator—and Paige’s thesis comes together. The third-floor kitchen, dining, and den are anchored by a ten-foot dining table, a breakfast nook with banquette, a generous island, and a cluster of swivel chairs angled toward the water. The space welcomes every version of togetherness during a beach week—cards at the nook, a big dinner, football in the fall, or sunrise-watching from a chair by the window. “Reconnection is the word of the day,” Paige says.

The stainless SKS pro-range, built-in microwave, and paneled dishwasher feature tech-savvy innovation that elevate the kitchen.

“It feels like a traditional Southern, Texas home design when you walk in,” Paige says. “That’s where we’re changing what the expectations are for a beach house, and it extends all through the design.”

For interiors, Paige Schnell made creative choices that many will want to emulate. If working on your own project, consider Ferguson Home showrooms, offering an unmatched selection of bath, kitchen, and lighting products from renowned brands.

And this room is where it happens. Fluted, white oak cabinetry brings texture to the wet bar, while SKS integrated panel dishwasher and other appliances keep the space looking seamless and uncluttered—form and function working together at the heart of the home.
